  Tonight (18/01/17) I witnessed the most unprofessional manager in more than 20 years of hospitality. For the past 2 years north shore tavern have had a great trivia night bringing locals and tourists together for a good meal and great fun. It's a welcome break to the working week and a small pleasure in life that hurts no one.
  
  During the middle of the game the tavern manager storms out of the kitchen and had a go at the trivia master over the simple use of a microphone (which we needed him to use to hear the questions) and told him on the spot that he can't come back again. He did it in front of all the patrons with no respect to anyone there.
  
  The tavern was a quarter full and the majority were there for the fun and games so no reason for any complaints from anyone over a microphone.
  
  It's a shame that this upstart manager felt the need to not only ruin the patrons night but also the hosts night and job. What an unprofessional and arrogant cretin. 25 regulars just figuratively slapped in the face AFTER the spent the money there buy a no-one on a pathetic power trip.
  
  Your a manager of a tavern, get some perspective.
  
  As a local I seriously doubt I'll come back anytime soon. There are 10 other taverns in a 10km radius that many of us will eagerly start visiting.
